The TAPO ES system consists of a central transformer device as well as the roof shaped profile with durable built-in cables. The profile is made out of UV-and weather resistant vinyl for long lasting protection.
The roof shape makes the profile short circuit proof and allows complete water drainage. The transformer (impulse device) is connected to a regular 110 V/60 Hz circuit and is linked with simple clamp connectors to the profile. Any length of cable can be used.
The equipment uses only 2.5 W and delivers 3500 V-5000 V at 0.4 Joule to the profile. The transformer is moisture-proof. Each transformer can be used for up to 30.000 m (90,000 ft) of profile.
